Deal Desk status: retailer access under review — no filler deals published while we wait.
Independent UK deal checking

Know the spec. Know the price.

QuidSpec checks price history, competing retailers and the product itself—then gives you a plain-English verdict.

Deals that survive the checks.

Search verified listings by product or category. Each retailer button is an affiliate link and QuidSpec may earn commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you.

No made-up bargains while the retailer connection is pending.

The first verified tech, gaming and home-appliance finds will appear here after approval and a successful tracking test. Until then, this is an intentional empty desk.

Every deal gets a human answer.

A score can look scientific while hiding the thing people actually want to know: should I buy it? These are the three labels QuidSpec will use consistently.

Worth it

A genuinely strong current price for a product we think makes sense. We will still show any catches before the retailer link.

What earns a place on the site.

Retailer feeds help us find candidates. They do not decide the verdict. A recommendation has to survive these checks first.

What did it really cost recently?

We compare today’s figure with recent pricing rather than trusting a crossed-out RRP.

Can you get it cheaper elsewhere?

Competing UK offers, delivery costs and worthwhile bundles all count.

Is the product itself a sensible buy?

Old stock and poor products do not become good recommendations just because the price falls.

What is the catch?

Memberships, redemption steps, awkward conditions and other limitations belong beside the verdict—not in tiny print afterwards.

Real judgement, not a product dump.

I’m building QuidSpec because most deal pages make you do the difficult bit yourself. They show a price and a percentage, but rarely tell you whether the same item was cheaper last month or whether a rival has the better offer.

I want every post to feel like advice you would actually send to a mate: what’s good, what’s not, and when you’re better off keeping your money.

How QuidSpec makes money.

Some future retailer links will be affiliate links. If you buy through one, QuidSpec may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That will not decide whether an offer is marked Worth it, Hold fire or Price trap. Prices and availability can change, so always confirm the final details with the retailer. This site currently has no accounts or forms and does not collect personal information directly.
